Speaking personally for myself, I would rather pay someone else to <BR>
provide serives etc.<BR>

However, if this is never going to happen, as it is commercially <BR>
unviable, I will certainly pitch in my time to help, if I can.<BR>

The problem is, as soon as the process starts, it will no doubt cut <BR>
off a lot of the possibilities for anyone hoping to make a bit of <BR>
money out of CMI services.<BR>

SO the bottom line is , I dont know what would be best for everyone, <BR>
but i do know I want an 32 meg card, an MFX cable, and a spare power <BR>
cable ! <BR>

Dont make me get my RS catalogue and soldering iron out, please !<BR>

Tony  : Thanks for the offer : one of the nice guys at fairlight ESP confirmed 
that the mfx cable is two centronics 24 pin plugs with straight through (pin to 
pin) cabling. Im Trying to find somewhere to source the centronics plugs (CPC 
in the uk have sockets, but not plugs)

I did ask peter a while ago, but peter got busy, then I got busy, and I dont have 
a current email address for him. Id much prefer peter to make me a cable, as 
my soldering is terrible (they used to call me "The Blob" at university LOL)  but 
i dont have a current email address for peter. (does anyone ?)
