New Fairlight CMI IIx user saying hi

2005-11-11 by Ulf Söderlund

Hi all!

Recently acquired a CMI IIx in good working condition. Started off by
making a fresh copy of the "ignition key" since it was almost broken
in two. Just finished a complete cleaning of the alpha-keyboard, the
main-keyboard is next.

Not sure if this has been done before (if so - please be patient with
this newbie), but i am thinking of designing an interface for using
3.5" + 8" floppies - will be checking this next week.

If someone could list all the known system software floppies (SYSTEM,
QDOS, FORMATTER, TEST, WORDPROCESSOR?) for the IIx i would be most
grateful.

Best regards;

Ulf Söderlund

Welcome to the group and congratulations on getting a fairlight.
Let us know what you come up with for 3.5" disks.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
