Any L.A. area Fairlight III/MFX2 users? Need lessons... :)

Any L.A. area Fairlight III/MFX2 users? Need lessons... :)

I recently introduced myself to the group, I'm a brand new Fairlight user with a CMI III/
MFX2 system (yes, a bit of a hybrid). Being a brand new user, I could use some basic
operations tips and advice. I have some of the manuals, but not the most basic "Get up
& Running" manual. The system is in great working order... the operator is not (that'd be
me.)

Anyone in the area up for giving a few Fairlight lessons? I'd compensate your time and be
very appreciative.

Please call, post or email if available (even for a call),

Hi Andrew,

I'd love an MFX2/Series III Hybrid (I have a 9.34 S3).

Good luck on finding some learning tips. I'd offer, but unfortunately,
live a zillion miles away in the UK!

Hey man,
sorry it took so long.

Found my manuals

1. Introducing the Fairlight

2. Command Summary Revision 8

3. CAPS NIDI sequencer for Series III

4. Rhythm Sezuencer for Series III

5. Cue List Timecode sequencer for Sound FX

6. Fairlight MFX2 Digital Audio Workstation

7 Fairlight Reference Manual

8. Tutorial Manual Revision 8

please let me know which ones you have and don't have and if you have any i
don't that you could hook me up with (though no expectation/requirement of
reciprocation, no worries, just asking).

I think the most useful and readable ones to start with wouls be

"introducing the fairlight" for absolute beginners (like us)
"Tutorial" it's not totally readable but better than most.

Anyways let me know what you want and we'll figure out how best to get it to
you.

Sincerely,
Glenn J
