A little moment in history.

A little moment in history.

Dear Failright "Nuts",

Last week I had the honour of affixing my signature to a Fairlight
keyboard which was on its way to the US to be auctioned as a fundraiser
for "Witness", a charity started by Peter Gabriel, which exposes human
rights abuses in countries that don't have free press.

The 43 white keys of the keyboard had previously been signed by
musicians who had prevsiously owned or used the Fairlight. It will be
auctioned in due course.

More about the fundraiser here: http://mixonline.com/mixline/witness-fundraiser-april25-031806/

I took along my handycam and have put a little home video of the event
here (about 7MB) for your viewing pleasure:

http://www.icetv.com.au/support/collateral/fairlight1.wmv

The accompanying soundtrack is from a 1980s Fairlight demo cassette.

Best regards,
