Fairlight-CMI

To Colin mainly, do you think the idea of a Fairlight song database 
is a good idea? Chris suggested it then it went a bit quiet!! If we 
all contributed our 'knowledge'!! it could become a very useful 
reference tool. Obviously songs would be rated on the percentage 
likelyhood of CMI involvement, whether the song was an album track or 
single, time in mins and secs where 'she can be heard' etc. And 
even 'the best use of a CMI you have heard in a track' section!

Yes, it could (should) be a large list!!

Kate Bush's classic "Babooshka" was released in June 1980, and features CMI breaking 
glass beautifully arranged with the tom fills.
Peter Gabriel 3, May 1980: The track "Start" features a string sound called  AFAIK 
"Belfast Str"
Jarre's Magnetic Fields, May 1981: Well, the use is obvious!
