Fairlight-CMI

Hopefully this post is less controversial than my last, that is 
starting a Fairlight online sample database. Which I do indeed hope 
comes into fruition one day for those ardent Fairlight admirers who 
do not own one yet.
However at this point in time, I feel that in order necessary to keep 
the instrument and its grandeur alive and contemporary, that members 
who own these legendary machines if possible could post small clips 
of Fairlight compositions online. I ask this because a lot the music 
I admire contains Fairlight eg early Duran Duran, Arcadia, Jarre and 
Yello and have heard not much new from a CMI other from that period. 
For me it would be like listening to an original midi composition (l 
like listening to xg midi original compositions) but produced by a 
marvellous machine. Even if the clips contained Fairlight mixed with 
contemporary soft synths, they would still be very interesting.

Keep the Fairlight alive!
