Fairlight series III or Synclavier ?

Fairlight series III or Synclavier ?

2006-10-13 by Kevin Kelley

When considering a synth/sampler strictly from the specifications on
the advertisements and web information it appears that both the series
III and the synclavier appear very close. I was wondering if anyone on
this list has both a series III and a synclavier PSMT and could voice
their opinions on the two. Or am I trying to compare apples to Oranges?
 There has always been a battle between synclavier and fairlight but
the IIx and the synclavier II are two totally different instruments but
the series III and the poly sampling synclavier seem much more closely
related.

Apples and Oranges, If I had one keyboard to purchase
and it would be the only keyboard it would be neither.
They are just another color in the pallet of in the
art of sound. If there's any one that is interested in
exchanging sound librarys for the series III and psmt
let me know.
