IIX sampling issue /problem ?

IIX sampling issue /problem ?

2006-11-19 by josin8768

I've recently acquired a IIX and not able to get a reasonable audible sample in. Double
checked the audio path , waveform on Page 8 ouput is very small and not at any stage
clipped or at a usable level? I'd appreciate any help.

level is from a balanced mixer ouput ( line level), set to high.

What level is the source? Line or Mic? I would always recommend coming in through a good pre or DI, maybe even a compressor to boost the levels as high as possible without clipping (or with clipping, if that's the sound you're going for).
