you had better sell your rev9 and buy a real MFX2
A complete upgrade means soldering on every board and there are
sometimes 14 steps for upgrading just one card ! the motherboards
need upgrades too.
This way you will have a buggy MFX2.
You will have to find a Turbo scsi card, a DSP96k card and the remote
console too.
They can be taken from the first generation of MFX3. Do you have a
cmi41 with 4mb of ram ?
I' ve the complete service manual for rev10 to 11.38. It' s a 300
pages book filled with the upgrade path.
Many years ago , I wanted to upgrade an old series III. Fairlight
replied me : " it' s a minefield ". So I sold it to buy a fresh MFX2.
