Switch Lamp update

Seems I didn't search well, sorry about that. Thanks for the help :-) I got the cap off just fine and it took some time getting the bulb out. The bulb is a 24 V 50 mA T5,5 (Telephone signal lamp)Dimensions:5x30 mm The seem to be pretty easy to get. There are also new LED versions. However, I found no Warm White LED versions and I want to keep the lights like they do now. They run at 20 volt and do give a "dimmed" light. I could perhaps make them, by using Warm White "50 degrees angle spread" LEDs, combined with a resistor, but I only found the Warm White LEDs in an online US shop, charging about 26$ just for shipping 2 resistors and 2 LED's, worth 3,60$. But if you are in the US, here is the link: http://ledsupply.com/l1-0-w5th50-1.php The site has a resistor calculator too, which is pretty handy. As far as I can tell, the lamps are fed with 20 V and not the 24 V they were designed for. So make sure you get the voltage right for calculating the resistor. Cheers, Peter K.
