Some help needed - light pen connector on monitor

I'm still trying to find out how I need to connect my light pen back to the monitor on a IIx.

If someone could tell me which voltages they measure on the connections points of the light 
pen connector on the monitor, I can figure out how to connect them.

Would anyone be so kind to measure this for me?

There are 4 pins that should output some voltages. Two pins should read about +1,94V, and 
one is +5V and the other one is -0,01 volt. I used the ground connector on the inside of the 
panel of the Mainframe unit as my other connection point while measuring.

Hi David, Peter Wielk helped me out with this exact same issue several
years ago. I dug through my emails and found this:

"Regarding the light pen, as an overview, the pen requires 5 volts
from the monitor power supply for its internal electronics, then there
are two logic signals, hit and touch which are output by the pen and
pass straight through the monitor into the CMI mainframe where they
feed into the graphics card (Q219 from memory).

The wiring is as follows: Black earth, Red +5V, then green and white
are hit and touch, but the manual doesn't say which is which! However
touch should appear on pin 3 of the 5-pin graphics output XLR on the
back of the monitor whilst "hit" should appear on pin 1."

If I remember right, the IIx at my college ended up wired as follows:

Red to Purple +5v
Black to Black (ground)
Green to White (pin 1)
White to Grey (pin 3)

Thanks to everybody that responded and gave me useful information.
Unfortunately I have to realize that my light pen isn't working anymore.

So, no page 4 or page 6 joy for me.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
