CMI III as a synth......

A IIx can do stuff like additive synthesis, drawing 32 stage envelopes for each of all the individual harmonics, realtime manipulating loop en some more very neat stuff...... What can a series III do (besides sampling)? (I can't find much info about this strangely enough.) Cheers and happy new year, Peter Kersten.
