32 Mbyte RAM cards.... Last attempt to post....

2009-06-03 by horiprod

Hi All.

Just announcing the completion of a new 32 Mbyte RAM card for sale for the CMI III. This single card replaces ALL the existing waveform RAM cards, to "max out" the memory to 32 Mbytes.

It also drastically reduces the heat and power consumption of the more usual 2 Mbyte cards.

You'll need to have a modern revision 7 or above system to utilise all 32 Mbytes, otherwise with a revision 5 system, you'll only be able to access 14 Mbytes.

Please see some images posted of the card, together with my new studio/workshop/widgetarium in the photos section of this site. It's under "horizontal".

Don't have a late model modern CMI III ???? Talk to me about upgrading to revision 9. The benefits are incredible, yet the costs are reasonable. Without compromising sound quality, you have instantly 5x access speeds, ability to talk to most SCSI devices to 4 Gbytes (including flash CF cards) and a host a major software enhancements. Add to this the ability to run colour graphics (view you CMI on a LCD screen), digital sampling, 24 output dynamic routing etc etc.

Drop me a line if any of this is remotely interesting. Email me at: horizontal_productions@hotmail.com

The posts seem to be coming through loud and clear, check your email, Peter.

I for one am very excited about this latest WFM32 production batch. They look fantastic, and work great.

Dare I hope it gives lots of righteous Series IIIs in the world a new lease on life?

Morning All,

Am really looking forward to finally getting my hands of one of these.
Thought of being able to use several of Roger Boltons mega samples at
once
brings feelings of uncontrollable bladder leakage!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a good one

Michael :)
