Re: IIx foot pedal

Re: IIx foot pedal

I have a footpedal that I bought for my Series III.

Details as follows:

Fairlight modified Yamaha FC7 type foot controller

Small amount of electronics in it

5 pin XL / Cannon type connector on the lead

Plugs into one of 3 sockets on the back of the Music Keyboard.

Is this the same for series IIX?

Yes, it's the same for the IIx. I have one here. Haven't traced the circuit that was retrofitted.

Hi Guys. The pedal circuits for the II and III keyboard simply replicate the faders (I and II) or the control knobs (III) All these controls, and the Yamaha pedal provide a variable voltage from -5V to +5V to correspond with control range of 0 to 127. Regards, Peter Wielk.
