exotic software

2012-11-09 by dd_62622

Hallo,

Some time ago I posted a question about anybody being aware if there existed a video game to be played on the cmi.
A silly question I know.

however to my surprise .. I did read a steve Rance gearslutz post in wich the author talks about a few games he wrote for the cmi wich he did send of to several users back in the 1980's

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/221843-fairlight-synclaviar-tales-2.html

(look for the srance comment)

So I post my question again.

Is there anybody out there in possesion of such a disk ?
Im kinda into trivial stuff, I know : )

Hi. There was a bit of non-CMI software for the IIX around at the factory around 1982. I have a floppy with Blackjack, Dr Eliza (an AI program) and a couple of others which I believe run on BASIC. There's also a program called Life, which from memory was a cell multiplying type thing. I'll check them out later. Regards, Peter Wielk in sunny Sydney

Hallo Peter,

Thanks for your message.
Hope you can make the software availible to the group.
I guess It's my microcomputer hobby that always made me wonder about homemade software for the cmi.

,always dreaming about "hidden" pages too : )

cheers,
David

Hi David. I've also found Stavewriter, circa 1985. Just send me 5 floppies, and I'll give you everything I have. I'll PM my address. Regards, Peter Wielk
