Fairlight CMI Series III Power Supply Schematic

2013-02-13 by Havelock John Tucker

Hi,

I've been lurking on this list for a while now. It's great. Just getting to post my first message:

I have a Series III power supply that had a resistor (I believe) fried in a post-blackout surge (it was a big one).

Whatever component blew, its sacrifice was not in vain. I replaced the power module with a backup and the rest of the CMI worked fine.

To repair the damaged supply, I'm looking for a schematic and wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Best,

John Tucker

Hi John. I just posted the schematics of the PSU in the files section. It's a bit grubby, and in two parts, but you'll get the idea ..... Regards, Peter, Horizontal Productions Sydney.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
