Does that work converting the mp3 to wav??? I thought if you converted an mp3 to wav you'd retain the mp3 quality in the same sort of way if you re-sampled a 11k 8bit sound to 16bit 44k, it would still sound closer to 11k 8 bit...

Hi all
anyone who gets the songs convert them to wave to hear the quality
of the pieces. They are mp3 128kbs which is not the bestest quality
but to audio they're great.
Regards
Colin

PS I must transfer Jon Ashley's songs to wave and post one of them
soon.

You can convert them back, but....

You are correct. The quality is still MP3.

Alas, this is not correct.

I'd say that 128 kbps is a pretty good quality for an mp3.
