Parting out a Series III

Parting out a Series III

2013-07-06 by KyleR

Looks like I am going to be taking a perfectly good Series II and parting it out.

I'd like to get expressions of interest to see what kinds of parts people are looking for.

I'd give priority to people who wanted more complete items. For example, someone who wanted the whole alpha keyboard would get preference over someone who wanted just the pen.

The entire system is available.....from CPU and cards to alpha keyboard to music keyboard to external drive to blank 8" disks. The original monitor is available as a project to someone who is electrically inclined. Could be an easy fix or maybe not. I don't have the skills to diagnose it.

Pricing TBD.

If there is something you are looking for, please let me know via email at kar_chicago@yahoo.com.

I've tried to sell it for a log time now and not a single offer, so this is the next step. It's in Chicago, and the full story is in previous recent posts of mine on the board.

Seems a shame to part it out, if it's working. What's up with it and where is it?

:-/ Wish it wasn't in Chicago. It would probably cost more to ship it safely across the pond than it's worth - and that's not cheap ;-)
