Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and don't have a CMI just yet, but plan to soon. Hopefully this and The Holmes Page will help we find out all I need to know about the Fairlight before buying and give me help and advice when owning one.

I ultimately want a fully loaded Series III that is in mint, working condition. I'm also open to offers on 100% working previous models, if the price is right.

Hope you are all well...

Regards,
Peter

Hi Peter
The best place for a series III is Peter Weilks Horizontal
Productions in London. Check his web site. Contact him direct for
the lastest price as this has changed from what has been stated on
the site. He's a great guy and is a good place to start if your
looking for a Fairlight. He updates them to the latest system and
brings them up to the new millenium status. He has even brought out
a new upgraded rack version of the Series III and still has a few of
them but there going fast. Ask him for a photo. I think he's going
to name it the Series III Horizontal or Series III H. I would get in
touch with him ASAP as he is going to Tibet soon for a few weeks. He
also gives a warrenty of a few months which you don't get with
private sales. Even if you do get a private sale Series III he can
also upgrade to the latest system. As we speak he is fixing and
upgrading mine.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Colin
