Fairlight-CMI

I have recently installed the CMI flash kit in my IIx but calling out to other users with a couple

of questions

1. are you able to boot from the left floppy drive on startup like a stock machine? in my case

when I boot no matter how the switches are set it doesnt find the floppy anymore and Im wondering

if this is normal behavior.. the light will flash for a second but it doesnt auto load from the floppy, I get

an unidentified disk error and it wont proceed. part 2 of the question is related..

2. when I load a suitable disk image to the flash I can't get it to proceed past the 'unidentified disk' error

is there a command that I can enter to tell it to check the drive again. obviously if I reboot whatever

image was previously loaded to the flash will be gone and Ill be back where I was.
