RE: [Fairlight-CMI] eBay: keyboards for parts

RE: [Fairlight-CMI] eBay: keyboards for parts

Mad! I search on a daily basis on eBay for anything Fairlight related as well as other stuff, but I still can't find this item if I use my advanced search string (SEE PIC). Surely this should pick it up? Can anyone see if I'm missing anything out?
It'd be a shame to realise I've missed out on loads of bargains because of some sill search error...
Cheers,
Peter

HI there :

I was originally caught out too : ebay.co.uk will only ever show you
stuff listed in the UK. So you can see the keyboards because they are
ebay.com.

To see them, repeat the same setup on ebay.com !

SOme one else might know a better work around !

Cheers,

Arron

Yes, you need to select the "Items located in..." button and then select
"Any country" in the flipmenu.

The beauty of using its own "native" eBay site (ebay.de in my case) is that
you get an instant curreny conversion.

How to search on e-bay.

2004-03-24 by feldmann@xs4all.nl

You must select the radiobutton "items LOCATED in ANY COUNTRY" ,
NOT "items AVAILABLE to ANY COUNTRY".

These are two different things, although related.

AVAILABLE means: seller will SHIP from any country to any country.
If you have a seller in the US who will not ship outside the US without
being paid extra for shipping and handling, it may not show up.

LOCATED means: Anything anywhere will show up. It's up to you to figure
out shipping and handling, you may get lucky.

Hope this is clear.

regards,
Harald.
