The Dremel drill press stand is somewhat flimsy and makes it even worse. Several years ago I bought a KBC Model CBD-6-SP high speed drill press which works great. They are priced at $145.00 (USD) I use carbide drills with this machine and have never broken a bit while drilling although I have broken several bits due to careless handling.
