The better HP black for my 6L actually transfers a little worse than the cheap generic toner. Of course might work better by different means, just get a test print to try or of course just want the color laser anyway.. :) Watch Fatwallet for deals, now and then are some good ones on the color lasers, quite reasonable ending numbers for such good printers. Also read the past threads on them, some are much worse for replacement toners etc than others. Alan
