I see the winner, Uniball, is made by the Mitsubishi Pencil Co. Interesting, and I'll add this to my shopping list. I've never had much luck with the Sharpies working well, but I find they hold up to FeCl a _whole_ lot better if I bake the board a little before etching. I leave my boards close to my stovetop's pilot light for an hour or several, which gets the boards up to barely touchable heat, whatever that is. Roughly 60oC. With the baking step I get roughly equal results from Sharpie, Lumocolor, and even a blue Avery brand Marks-A-Lot Permanent (only $0.50 at the dollar store). Left too long, all etch through, but are still useful in a pinch. James Arthur
