I have a small company doing r&d in human-computer interaction devices that consist of hardware, firmware and host computer software. I do my own pcb fabrication to quickly produce and modify very compact circuit boards for prototypes. A typical board might measure 1.5cm by 3cm, and have surface mount parts and sensors on both sides - a total of 15 to 25 parts. I can produce a board ready for parts mounting, starting from schematic, in less than two hours. I hand solder the parts. - Chris Graham
