The reason I was interested in more reliable bubble etching was part of another project to see if its possible to fabricate a compact and complete PTH PCB station for fabricating 150x150mm boards. If it is possible to get cost and labour down to a reasonable level then I would look at marketing such PCB prototyping stations. I know there is a lot of R+D work to get there, even after my years of tinkering around. If its not economically viable or there is no market then I'd end up with a smaller PTH PCB station to replace my current setup which takes up lots of room.
