The McMaster-Carr company (www.mcmaster.com) carries very fine
mesh materials. Their part number 92715T32, for instance, is a stainless
steel screen with a 5 micron rating, but with a price of $183 for 12" x 12"!
They also carry plastic mesh and metal sieves, but I don't know if they're
fine enough for your needs.

McMaster carries -all sorts- of materials for building things, and it is easy
to spend a lot of time on their website. Be carefull, I often end up buying
something from them I never knew I needed.
