Hi all, Been doing the same search myself for a while now... I haven't made an order yet, but a few promising leads: www.pcbmaterialworld.com probably your best bet to find exactly what you need. They appear to stock all types of copper clad laminates, including flex, and I saw an ad saying they would deal with hobbiests/researchers. professionalplastics.com k-mac-plastics.com both of these places distribute the polyimide plastic (AKA kapton) that is typically used as the laminate in flex boards. No copper clad, but depending what you are hoping to do, it might help. Really pricy stuff... bare copper foil (if you are looking to do lamination yourself) is available pretty much everywhere - including that first link, or places like: onlinemetals.com basiccopper.com Another great resource for more info about these materials and their use is "Printed circuits handbook" by Clyde F. Coombs... in it's 5th or 6th edition now. If you get a chance, please let us know how things go - I'm looking to start doing the same thing pretty quick here.
