Hi! What laminator did you buy and are you using 1/32" or 1/16" thick boards? I am looking to buy a laminator but I am hoping some one could make valid recomendations based onthier expierience with that model.. regards Mike ________________________________ From: Alessio Sangalli <alesan@manoweb.com> To: Homebrew_PCBs@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, April 16, 2009 7:50:29 AM Subject: [Homebrew_PCBs] First experiment Hi I made my first PCB since I moved to USA. The HP paper is good, the laminator I have bought is very, very good! I am so satisfied. Then I tried to etch with H2O2 + muriatic acid. I have a tank that "bubbles" air. I have not used the heater. Time: 4.00 minutes the board is ready. It is true this first board has only thick traces, but the result is very good. The only problem is that, after rinsing the board, I use some acetone to remove the toner. It goes instantly but doing so it makes the PCB "dirty", darker as it should be. Any hint? I have prepared a checklist with the tools and the step for the process. I think I will take pictures next time and put together a small website. bye Alessio [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
