Huh, newbies' suggestion: If you can't make the ink stick to the PCB surface properly, how about alterring the PCB surface slightly? Either by roughing the glossy finish, maybe sanding with a 600 grit sandpaper? Or the other direction, applying a thin layer of a lacquer (or something) that is much more agreeable with the ink?
