The $24 Duck laminator at Walmart is a heated unit. I took it apart and it uses a heating element across the top roller. A 5rpm motor drives the roller pair. Unfortunately it appears to be one of a new generation of low temperature laminating units. It operates at 85 degrees C or 185 degrees F. I don't think it can be modified to a higher temperature without melting various internal components like the gears. --- In Homebrew_PCBs@yahoogroups.com, "Phil" <phil1960us@y...> wrote: > --- In Homebrew_PCBs@yahoogroups.com, "bob_ledoux" <bobledoux@p...> wrote: > > Has anyone looked at this machine for toner transfer?
