Question about direct etch doughnuts

Question about direct etch doughnuts

2006-01-03 by Lindle

I am using PCB123 to draw my circuit boards with and have made
through rings slightly larger in the program. Now I find these
"direct etch doughnuts" and want to know if I need these or will the
slightly larger pad rings work from the program. Sorry for being a
newb and not knowing better yet but I am learning tho. Thanks Lindle
