Disassemble your Epson Inkjet

Disassemble your Epson Inkjet

2010-06-27 by bebx2000

I posted this on the Yahoo Inkjet_PCB_Construction Forum. It might also be of some interest here ...

I came across this Epson part supplier on the Yahoo Epson Printer forum,

http://www.compassmicro.com/parts1.cfm

Find your printer and go to the page of online stock parts. There will be a link for an Exploded Diagram, e.g,

http://www.compassmicro.com/files/Artisan%2050%20exploded%20diag.pdf

As near as I can tell, there is a diagram for all of the Epson printers.

There are a number of places where you can buy actual service manuals
for most printers. Look on ebay first - there is a guy somewhere in
Eastern Europe whom I've dealt with a couple of times who sells them
for $2.98. You pay him via paypal and he gives you a link to download
the pdf. As far as I can tell, these things aren't copyrighted.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
