DJ Delorie interview about GEDA on EEVblog

DJ Delorie interview about GEDA on EEVblog

2010-10-27 by javaguy11111

Just noticed an interview with DJ on the EEV Blog about his work on GEDA.

If you are not familiar with the EEV blog, I have found it quite informative and entertaining as well.

g-eda wrong all these years. I did not realize I could run'em together to
make a word. Good interview- I forwarded it to a friend who is presently
using commercial products in his daily work- but not a Lunix user.

Well, gEDA stands for "GPL'd EDA" so you get the "jee" sound, not the
"ghee" (as in GNU) sound.

As for Kicad, I've heard it pronounced kigh-cad and kee-cad, so don't
trust my judgement on that one.

It's spelled "Linux" or "Unix" but not both ;-)

Actually, this is that new operating system, designed for use on the next moon shot ...
