Homebrew PCBs

I was wondering what would be the best method of flushing ink out of 
a cartridge? I am going to start expermintation with etch-resistant 
inks and I want to make sure that the ink is not mixed. 

Any help would be most apreciated.

Hypodermic needle (preferably with sharp point ground off) and rubber bulb  
with water.

For cleaning and flushing these things, I find what works best is this:

50mL nonsudsing household ammonia
200mL 50% isopropyl alcohol
250mL filtered or distilled water

I have a 500mL labeled container I mix it in, just some garden variety
food container.

Assuming you are -not- using HP or Lexmark (head and tank all in one):

I have a vacuum pump with holding container that I found at a thrift
store that I use to pull large quantities of cleaner through. You can
also use a vacuum pump and a mason jar between the cartridge and the
pump to catch the ink and cleaning solution.

BTW, the Epson C8x and C6x series printers don't have a sponge/felt
inside, so easier to flush completely. The chips make things a large
pain, but get the SSC Service Utility software (free) to reset the chips.
