Hi,
I joined this group in the vain hope I'd one day be
able to get my SX-210 working and sounding as lovely as I think it could be.
Unfortunately I'm now unable to spend any more time on it and will be looking to
find a new home for it.
As it stands at the moment, I believe there are a
few things wrong with it. The damage was caused by the leaking battery and a few
components have been replaced. I think the problem now lies in the envelope area
as each voice seems to have a different timbre and envelope timing. A couple of
voices don't even sound at all or are very qiuet.
I'm sure the more experienced SX-210 owners and
repairers may be able to help but I just don't have the time!!
To assist in the repair, I will be throwing in my
difficult to find SX-210 Service Manual which has full schematics of all boards,
calibration procedures, a parts list and specs of some components
used.
Not sure of a price yet but I do want to just get
rid of it!!
Will have a look at postage costs but my initial
thoughts at an asking price would be around £75.
