I have just finished rebuilding a Roland CR78 that suffered battery damage
Althouh it looks a nightmear with the circuit digarams to hand and a logical approach it is not difficult
If you have decided to give in I would be very interested in buyin this project from you
Where do you live
I am in Sunny Bournemouth (well it is currently raining but by the time most people get up it should be sunny again)

Date: Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 7:28 AMHi,I joined this group in the vain hope I'd one day be able to get my SX-210 working and sounding as lovely as I think it could be. Unfortunately I'm now unable to spend any more time on it and will be looking to find a new home for it.As it stands at the moment, I believe there are a few things wrong with it. The damage was caused by the leaking battery and a few components have been replaced. I think the problem now lies in the envelope area as each voice seems to have a different timbre and envelope timing. A couple of voices don't even sound at all or are very qiuet.I'm sure the more experienced SX-210 owners and repairers may be able to help but I just don't have the time!!To assist in the repair, I will be throwing in my difficult to find SX-210 Service Manual which has full schematics of all boards, calibration procedures, a parts list and specs of some components used. Not sure of a price yet but I do want to just get rid of it!!Will have a look at postage costs but my initial thoughts at an asking price would be around £75.Thanks for your help!
