The Fatar weighted action controllers are very good, in my opinion. About as
good as you might expect from any mechanism that isn't actually throwing
hammers at strings and lifting dampers. The 88-key Studio Logic is around
$500 USD, which is more than the MAudio usually goes for. I haven't been
able to try the MAudio yet, but have heard from others that it's action is
more synthy (light, springy) than other fully weighted models, like the
Fatar. The Fatar does NOT offer USB - you'll need at least a 1-in 1-out
interface to connect it to your computer - and it has very limited control
options - nothing compared to the MAudio. But purely from a tactile point of
view, I'd go with the Fatar.
