Hmm, interesting one.. What if you simply delete all audio objects in the song
you're copying from (and then obviously don't save that one), will it still
keep loading the data for the plugins from the other song?


you can option click the plugs in the channel strip to deactivate them, but they still might load. its particularly a problem with Garritan and Ultrabeat because every time you change from one song to another if you have two open, then it goes through this load process each time.

No one ever discovered if Logic still the audio bypass... holding a modifier key during the start of Logic used to deactivate audio.
