I had a thought which *may* work (I haven't tried it yet). Before booting up Logic, try moving your AU's out of the Components folder to a temp one. Bring up both songs. The one with the plugins will have the AU plugs with a line through them (ie they won't load). Do your copy and pasting and then save the "plugins" song (under a new name until you know that this works). Bring down Logic, put back the AU's and then reload Logic with your song. That may work a little bit faster although still probably slower than you want since you need to wait for Logic to boot up again. If you use a bunch of Logic plugins, then it won't make it any faster I'm afraid since you can't control their behavior. If you freeze exs-24 tracks, I believe that they will load up without loading the samples until you unfreeze. That may also help. Just a suggestion. HTH, Fernstudio
