It sounds like a good idea. Actually, I don't mind the EXS24 plug-in load-up times (extremely fast). But I also make extensive use of East West's Symphony Orchestra Gold's (Native Instruments) plug-ins and they take FOREVER to load (very fat samples). I'll check for their AU files in the components folder and perhaps try your suggestion for those. Thanks again, Michael
