Very few consumers would want to drop $1000 for a pro audio application. I'm sure Apple doesn't have Final Cut Pro or DVD Studio Pro or Shake loaded in the stores either. Just over the heads of who Apple is usually catering to in the Apple Stores. Not for nothing, if you have been able to have access to Logic Express, you really have all the demo you need for Logic Pro. The two softwares function pretty much exactly the same. You get more of some things with the pro version, but to see Logic Pro Express work is usually sufficient to see how Pro works.
