I really dont want to start a Platform war (Disclaimer inserted here:
Lov'em Both), but I've always leaned to Macs because by the time you
are said and done, that is, adding things to the PC, subtracting
things, and calculating life span of the PC, it ends up costing the
same just going with a mac.
Since day 1 that I purchased computer recording gear, by the time I
loaded everything, tweaked settings and got running, I was in business
(paying for the expensive Mac) within hours.
On the PC side, there was a Much much longer setup time to get it to
run smoothly without hickups.
just my 002c worth.
Dont get me wrong, I run PC's too, not just macs and Commodore
64's......
