A better sample editor with
-rendering of effects (Soundtrack Pro style with layers)
-stereo/mono conversion
-batch conversion

Channelstrip name visible!

Better navigation of presets.

Midi in/out info without having to have a transport window open (ie
on the arrange transport)

EXS redesign with functions that addresses the requirements of the
latest in sample libraries. Fix virtual memory!

I agree with the need for a good quality arpeggiater plugin. Perhaps
Touch Tracks should be revisited by Apple. It's a great idea, but
much underutilised due to a simplistic interface. Touch tracks should
be a midi plug in with a good GUI.

Midi plug ins would be great. eg track based LFOs, algorithmic
potential, build your own. Cubase has it, even Kontakt has added this
recently so there is obviously a need for it.

Apple loops need better sorting and definition parameters (user
definable subfolders, categories).

I could come up with more, but I wonder who's listening.

Tom
