Same here with the AMT8 hehe. Sounds like something else wierd going on 
if the MIDI doesnt sound at all maybe a corrupted songfile. I often 
forget to close Logic before opening SD and its been pretty consistant 
with just the transpose bug.. Of course for the most part I usually 
notice it pretty quick when my song starts playing back screwy and I 
dont go too much into it after that before shutting it down and firing 
it back up hehe..
