Middle C is perfectly well defined, in tonal frequency and in MIDI (although depending on the instrument and sound used, middle C will often not be 261.626Hz but that's beside the point). As stated, it is note number 60. His question was whether Logic calls this note number C3 (and starts numbering at C-2) or C5 (and starts numbering at C0). Sounds like a perfectly sensible question to me, and if I had Logic at hand right now, I'd check it to give you a more useful answer. :o) Maurits.
