Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hello all, 

This may not be the best place to post this, but I was looking for any 
information on Swing, and Mixable dance music tracks.  Currently, I'm 
completing tracks and attempting to mix them with regular vinyl, and 
I'm finding I can not get my tracks to sync up properly. I started 
listening closer, and I'm noticing that my tracks don't have a swinging 
feel to it.  Now I know about the swing function in logic, but every 
time I seem to use the function, it doesn't seem to make sense to me. 
Do I swing every componet of my track? Or do I just apply swing to 
drums, and certain other instruments? Or is there some sort of number 
of mesures were the first hit is dead on and the rest of the x number 
of bars has the swing until the point where it starts over again, I'm 
just really confused about swing. Which I know is a major portion of 
making mixable music of any genre, so if anyone could point me in the 
right direction that would be great. or if anyone can point me to some 
place that may have the answer I'm looking for that would be great.
