And keep in mind that Apple censors those comments. They freely admit to a 
policy of deleting messages which they deem to be too critical.

It seems like I go through spells of stability and instability with no clue 
as to what causes the change. One thing that seems to cause a lot of crashes is 
using a lot of plugs and virtual instruments - instead of getting audio 
warnings, just bam it dies.

One thing you can do, is to create a new autoload file from scratch - in case 
there is corruptin in your autoload, then it gets into every new song. Create 
a new tempate (perhaps by renaming the existing ones), then copy things over 
part by part. 

And of course, there is the option of creating a new boot disk, re-install 
Logic, and leave out anything that is not absolutely necessary. I check all demo 
software in Garageband on a different mac .
