I'm using LP7.2 on a Dual G5 w/ a MOTU 24io and on my PowerBook G4 15" w/ an MIO 2882+DSP and I find both configs to be pretty stable, not as stable as PT, but a lot more stable than DP 4 or 5. My problems are minor: the most annoying thing is that when I'm using the Punch On The Fly, it'll work fine for a while but then it will stop passing audio to the track; i.e. there's meter movement indicating the hardware is OK and Logic keeps rolling but the track is blank- no audio, no waveform. I use the auto drop as a workaround but it's annoying. I haven't had the kind of crippling problems that some LP7x users have experienced. I have used LP7 almost every day for the last 2+ years. Based on my experience, rebuilding the autoload song is a good idea. If your autoload song is corrupt, then it will corrupt every single session that you create with it. Another thing that helps is RAM. Get as much RAM as you can. Logic and Mac OS 10.x LOVE RAM. RAM can be corrupt, too. Just because your computer works fine w/ all the other apps doesn't mean that it's Logic's fault. LP puts high demands on your computer. Apple make a hardware tester. So do a lot of 3rd party vendors. Get one and check your RAM, etc. -John
