It can use AU/VST plugins for rendering as well as the ability to use AU/VST instruments. Its a great editor that offers lots of facets for lots of different editing needs (hardware sampler transfer etc.) Its not really a 'single window' editor but it'll do pretty much any job you want it to including cd burning. Try the demo and see if it suits you. Mike
